The Mill is definitely a popular spot to grab a bite for lunch. This was my first time dining for brunch on a Sunday since the restaurant launched their new menu April, 2018. This visit was also a special treat since my family was celebrating my sister and dad’s birthday.

My dad enjoyed the hearty Full English Breakfast pictured below which included local sausage, baked beans, bacon, oven roasted tomato, mushroom, herb grilled potato and toasted foccaia with fried eggs. Delicious and filling, if you’re looking for a large breakfast, this is your choice!

The Mill Chicken Waffle. Delicate homemade waffles paired with crispy seasoned chicken makes for a brunch party in your mouth! If you love savoury and sweet, look no further on the menu.

For a more healthy menu option…My mum ordered the Hummus Quesadilla which was grilled and served with caramelized onion, sweet potato, side salad and two fried eggs. The hummus was tasty, creamy and paired favourably with the sweet onions. FYI if you are a vegetarian, this dish will put a smile on your face.

I opted for the Smoked Salmon and Cream Cheese Eggs Benny, because I love a benedict for brunch! This dish was packed with flavour served on a fresh toastie with tomato and caper salsa. The salsa/lettuce sides was a fresh touch which complimented the silky texture of the salmon, cheese sauce and egg.

If you’re looking to try a new spot for brunch in Barbados, try the Mill! It’s a small menu, but the food presentation, flavours and food creativity make the visit well worth it. The brunch receives a thumbs up from me!

As always, thank you for visiting Bajan Bite. I hope you enjoyed the read! 🙂
