The Lobster Pot is a quaint, tropical beachfront restaurant located in Speightstown offering fresh, appetizing seafood and a friendly service. I had the pleasure of dining a second time here for lunch, and decided I had to share my review. To start I tried the fried calamari and shrimp, prepared in a tasty batter. The shrimp was juicy on the inside, while the calamari was crispy and not too chewy. They were both drizzled with Lobster Pot’s signature sauce, made with a mayonnaise, mustard and cajun base.
Fried Calamari & Shrimp
At Lobster Pot you have the option to choose what sides you would like to be ordered with your seafood or meat of choice. (They also serve other meats including BBQ Ribs, Pork Belly & Chicken). I ordered one of their side combos which includes plantain, sweet potato, english potato & breadfruit… besss!!! ♥) The Cajun Shrimp was dripping in succulence, sautéed in a flavourful cajun sauce. The salad was tossed in a citrus and honey based dressing which truly made a simple toss salad quite delectable.
Sipping on this Miami Vice all the while, made my tummy extra happy 🙂

The Surf & Turf…
embodies a beautiful seductive relationship between seafood and red meat. With a velvety smooth lobster deep fried in a crunchy batter paired with a juicy, seasoned, grilled steak, this perfect combo will leave you screaming for joy! This was also ordered with the side combo including plantain, sweet potato, english potato & breadfruit. A must-try when visiting The Lobster Pot.
